Movement, laughter, and a little friendly competition.
Adult Field Day brings us back to when movement was fun. You don’t workout for the workout. You workout for what the workout allows you to do. This is a chance to put that capability into action with positive people.
Five planned team games
- Partner Hold Challenge: teamwork and controlled strength.
- Coordination Relay: movement, coordination, and control.
- Limbo: take your turn and cheer on your teammates.
- Tug of War: work together as a team.
- Egg Toss Finale: finish with a classic Field Day favorite.
We’ll make room for check-in, a coached warm-up, game instructions, hydration breaks, snacks, socializing, and closing photos. Game details may change with attendance, equipment, weather, or safety conditions.
Coach Eric assigns balanced teams. Initial assignments are planned about a week before the event and may change to keep teams balanced. Coaches explain the rules and modifications. You may modify, decline, or stop any activity.

Prepare with Coach Eric
Start now so you can enjoy the day.
Small Habits = Big Wins. Build a little movement, nourishing food, and hydration into your routine before Field Day.
1. JustMove: get the dust off those knees.
Start with Coach Eric’s warm-up video. Move at a comfortable pace and range, and use the modifications that fit you. Stop if a movement causes pain, dizziness, or unusual symptoms.
2. Build consistency with a 5-minute Lfp.
Coach Eric is creating four standard 5-minute routines for event preparation. They’ll be added to the Lfp Library, with links here when ready.
Coming soon: the four event routines are still being created. The library’s current examples are not automatically your assigned routine. Use an Lfp Coach Eric has assigned or approved for you.
3. EatWell: simplify your plate.
Prepare familiar meals built around a protein, a carbohydrate source, and vegetables or fruit. Plan ahead so a rushed day doesn’t make every food decision for you. Keep water available and choose it more often than sugary drinks.
Brazilian BBQ Boys is confirmed as our food truck for Adult Field Day. Bring water and any snacks or food you need for your own preferences; menu and pricing details will be shared when available.
Read Coach Eric’s approach to enjoying fall and eating well →
4. Hydrate: bring your bottle.
Drink water regularly and take hydration breaks during the event. Being active and sweating can increase your fluid needs.
Lft limeade is Coach Eric’s water, lime, salt, and maple option, referenced in his fall nourishment tips. The measured Field Day recipe and demonstration will be added after Coach Eric finalizes them. Plain water is a good option in the meantime.
Hydration supports normal body function and helps prevent dehydration. It does not guarantee protection from injury. Preparation also means warming up, choosing an appropriate effort, taking breaks, and listening to your body.
General nourishment and hydration guidance: CDC healthy eating tips and water and healthier drinks.
Your Field Day checklist
- Water bottle and snacks or a packed meal.
- Comfortable, appropriate footwear and weather-ready layers.
- A blanket or folding chair for breaks.
- Your official event shirt, if already received.
- A willingness to participate at your level, cheer others on, and enjoy yourself.
Check-in begins at noon, followed by the welcome, warm-up, and instructions. Activities finish at 3:00 PM.
A few things to know
What if it rains?
Rain or shine, subject to field and safety conditions. If thunderstorms make the event unsafe, it will move to Sunday, November 1, 2026. Check the Upcoming Events page and event communications for updates.
Can I come to support?
Yes. The public is welcome to watch, cheer, and socialize. Official game participation requires registration and the event shirt. Ask Coach Eric about participation changes.
What if I need to modify a game?
Tell your coach about any concern before the activity. You can modify, sit out, or support your team. No one is shamed for choosing the level that fits them.
How do I stay connected?
