🌱 New Year… Again? Yes, March 20th is a True New Year, New You!
If you struggled to maintain your habits this year, it might not be you. It might’ve just been poor timing.
Let’s break it down.
🌍 What Is the Astrological New Year?
The Astrological New Year begins on the Spring Equinox, March 20th when day and night are equal.
It marks the Sun entering Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. Aries is all about beginnings, action, confidence, and self-starting energy. It’s the ultimate clean slate.
And historically, this isn’t some random trend.
Ancient civilizations like the Babylonians and Persians celebrated the New Year during this exact time because winter ended, farmers planted crops, homes were cleaned, and life restarted with reliable sunlight.
Spring cleaning… huh huh huh. Out with the old, in with the new, we’re getting there.
It was natural. The body was ready for change. Even dogs shed their coats during this time. Your body is ready for new habits.
⚡ Why This “New Year” Is More Practical
- More sunlight = more energy, better mood, higher motivation
- Nature resets, and your body wants to reset too
- You’re out of survival mode, January is recovery, not growth
- Movement feels easier with longer days
- Fresh foods are back, easier to EatWell
🧠 Why This Is a Better Time to Change
Let’s be real about January.
- Cold
- Dark
- Low energy
- Still recovering from holiday chaos
It’s a time to just get back to normal. We don’t need added stress or tasks, just get back on track.
Now we’re settled in.
The world is waking up… and you’re ready.
JustMove — get outside and take advantage of longer days
EatWell — shift to fresh, simple fuel
StayStrong — build consistency while you have momentum
This isn’t motivation. It’s alignment.
🎯 Let’s Make It Personal
Lft has a bias, haha, but a good bias.
The first day of spring is my mother’s birthday, the exact moment the world begins to blossom again.
And yes… it’s Aries season for all of us. (April 14th, don’t forget it.)
Regardless, coach is ready.
You are the will. Lft is the way.
Sometimes things don’t just “fall” into place… they spring forward.
So now is the time to have a plan and be ready.
📝 Write Down Your Goals and Put Them Into Your Calendar
Don’t just think about your goals, write them down.
Put it in you schedule. Workouts. Walks. Grocery shopping. Meal prep. Recovery.
And if you really mean it, send it to someone. Send it to coach!
