Why Virtual Personal Training

Why I Switched to Virtual Personal Training

Another way to JustMove. Real coaching, real accountability, and real support from wherever you are.

“A personal training session through a phone? How? You can’t do that. I will never do that.”

That was honestly my first thought.

I was against virtual training at first. I even told my boss I would not do it. This was during Covid, when I had around 50 clients consistently coming to me in person. Then all of a sudden, I could not train them the same way anymore.

When I checked in, I found out most of them had stopped exercising completely once everything shut down. Training is not only what pays the bills for me. It is also my passion. I want people moving, feeling better, and staying consistent.

My boss, and my father, both reminded me that humans are built to evolve. So I gave virtual training a shot. Once I realized I could still get people moving consistently, still coach them, still watch their form, and still help them feel better, I was sold.

The location changed. The coaching did not.

Virtual training became more than a backup plan. It became another way to help people JustMove.

Covid changed a lot of routines. It changed how people worked, how they socialized, how they used gyms, and how they thought about their health. For a lot of people, movement became harder to maintain. Some stopped going to the gym. Some lost their routine. Some became less active. Some knew they needed help but had no clue where to start again.

That is where virtual training started to make sense. Real coaching should not only be available to people who can physically get to the same gym as me. Some people are busy with work and family. Some people feel uncomfortable in gyms. Some are unsure around equipment. Some are afraid of doing exercises wrong. Some need to build confidence before they ever step into a gym.

Virtual training gave Lft a way to meet people where they are. At home, at the gym, outside, in a small room, on the road, or wherever they have a phone or computer.

Videos Give You Exercises. Lft Gives You Coaching.

Most people already know exercise matters. They know they should move more. They know strength training helps. They know cardio, mobility, protein, and consistency matter. The problem is not always awareness. The problem is applying it.

What should I do? Am I doing this right? How often should I train? What if my knees hurt? What if I am out of shape? What if I miss a week? How do I start without overdoing it?

That is where coaching matters.

Workout videos can be useful, but a video does not know if your knees are caving in. A video does not know if your back feels tight. A video does not know if an exercise should be modified. A video does not know if you skipped the last two weeks. A video does not know if you need encouragement, accountability, or a simpler starting point.

Videos give you exercises.

Lft gives you coaching.

A video can show you a squat. A coach can help you find the squat variation your body can actually do well.

Who Virtual Training Helps

Virtual training is for the person who knows fitness matters but struggles to stay consistent alone. It is for the person who has tried gyms, apps, videos, cardio machines, at-home workouts, or random routines. It is for the person who used to be active but fell off when life got busy.

It is for the person who wants to feel better but does not want to be thrown into extreme gym culture.

You do not need to be in shape to start virtual training. Starting is how you get in shape.

How It Works

A virtual Lft session is simple. You join from your phone, tablet, or computer. You can train at home, in the gym, outside, or wherever you have enough space to move.

We start with a warm up so your body is ready. Then we move through exercises based on your goals, ability, equipment, and current limitations. I watch how you move. If something needs to change, we change it. If an exercise does not feel right, we modify it. If you need a simpler version, we use it. If you are ready to progress, we progress.

That is coaching. Not guessing. Not random workouts. Not trying to keep up with a video that was never made for you.

The Quality of Life Connection

The point of training is not just to be better at exercising. The point is to make life feel better.

Movement helps you walk upstairs with more confidence, carry groceries more easily, play with your kids, travel without feeling limited, try new activities, feel less stiff, feel stronger, and have more energy for the people and things you care about.

Fitness is not the goal. Fitness is the tool that helps you enjoy life again.

That is why Lft exists. Movement, nourishment, and positive social interaction are not just fitness ideas. They are quality of life tools.

Lft is not about punishment workouts, extreme dieting, gym intimidation, random circuits, or making fitness take over your life. The goal is not to crush you. The goal is to help you move better, feel better, and build a rhythm you can actually keep.

If you did one squat today and zero yesterday, you are already moving in the right direction.
